Account & data deletion

There is no Afar account — and nothing of yours on our servers.

Last updated October 24, 2026. This page covers the Afar apps, published by Imagine That AI LLC.

Afar has no accounts to delete

Afar does not offer user accounts. There is no username, password or sign-up, and Imagine That AI LLC does not run a cloud service for the apps — so we hold no copy of your app data and there is no account record for us to delete. The app connects only to the Afar service on your own computer, after a pairing you approve there. What follows is how to remove that pairing and everything connected with it, completely.

Remove everything, step by step

  1. Remove the device on your computer. Open the Afar service on the computer the app is paired with and remove the paired device. This deletes the pairing on the computer side, and the credential stored on your device can no longer connect to anything.
  2. Delete the app. Deleting Afar from your phone or tablet removes its settings and preferences from the device.
  3. Delete anything on your own computer you no longer want. Terminal sessions, files and job receipts live on the computer you paired with — never on our systems — and you can delete them there like any other local files.
  4. Ask us to delete email you sent us. The only information Imagine That AI LLC can hold about you is correspondence sent to [email protected]. Write to that address from the email you used and we will delete the thread.

What is deleted, and what is kept

  • Pairing credential — deleted on your computer the moment you remove the device (step 1). A copy in your device’s secure storage cannot be used after that and is removed with the app where the system allows.
  • App settings and preferences — deleted when you delete the app (step 2).
  • Sessions, files and receipts — stored only on your own computer; under your control at all times, kept or deleted as you choose.
  • Email you sent us — kept only so we can reply; deleted within 30 days of a deletion request (step 4), sooner on request.
  • Website visits — fromafar.app sets no cookies and runs no analytics; our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard security logs as described in the privacy page.
